About Stallings, NC
The Stevens Mill area has a fascinating history. We know that the first grist mill on the site dated back to at least 1789. You can see the remnants of the foundations of another mill built on the site in 1826.
The Family Night follows a tradition of annual picnics started by town founder, Matthew Thomas Stallings. The Easter Egg hunt is another proud town tradition. The town plays host to several annual events, including music festivals and Earth Day celebrations.
The Stallings Municipal Park offers fun activities such as splash pads for the kids. It’s a great picnic spot and the perfect place to spend a warm summer’s day.
