Symphony Park

Wedged right into the South Park Mall is the Symphony Park, home to the famous and celebrated Summer Pops series, among many other events. The lush green human-made park plays host to lots of family events and functions with tons of food and drinks on offer.

Many parking options are available from Reid’s Fine Food and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Nothing beats a family filled funfair with a few friends following along the Summer Pop or the endless events lined up every month. There are pristine restrooms for your family to use, and the park is also dog-friendly.

Do you want to carry in your own food and drinks? When you’re coming to Symphony Park, that’s no problem. The park is not strict when it comes to outside food.

You can carry as much food to feed the whole park if you like. There are also food trucks and restaurants if you want take-out. Although the park is sloping, you needn’t worry about spilling any of your drinks and food on the slight gradient. Set up your picnic blanket and enjoy your picnic.

Almost every inch of the ground is covered by green grass, so you can choose the perfect spot and sit wherever you like. You could also carry your seats if you don’t fancy sitting on a blanket or the well-manicured grass.
